Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Must complete and pass Child Protection Training.

Must complete UTSA Compliance Training.

Knowledge of sport techniques in assigned sport such as soccer, football, softball, baseball, tennis, volleyball, track and field, etc.

Experience teaching, coaching and working with children.

Ability to perform and demonstrate assigned sport technique.

Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and communication skills.

Other Skills Preferred

Possess a coaching license from USSF or NSCAA.

Ability to understand basic zero-risk liability issues associated with overseeing a University-related event.

Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, or equivalent email system.

Description of Job Duties

To provide assistance in overseeing on-location aspects of the sport camp program.

Responsible for coordinating, supervising, and coaching campers.

Assist with providing a safe, fun and educational skills-based experience for campers.

Assist with the set-up and break down of camp equipment

Assist with checking-in/checking-out of campers at the beginning/end of each camp day

Performs lectures regarding skills areas.

Oversee camper drills and exercises as provided by camp director.

Provide daily lesson plans for lower-level camp staff.

Assist with camp administrative duties associated with rosters, accident reports, camp reports, data entry and recordkeeping.

Assist with coordinating camp orientation, award ceremonies.

Perform other duties as needed.
